September is National Rice Month! In 1991 Congress and the President of the United States decreed September as National Rice Month. Join Doguet's in celebrating National Rice Month by preparing these delicious rice recipes for your friends and family!

Each year from the end of September through the first weekend in October, the Winnie-Stowell Park in Winnie, Texas is home to the Texas Rice Festival. This event was founded in 1969 and celebrates the harvest of the rice grown in Southeast Texas. The festival draws thousands of people to participate in our family-oriented, affordable event. With free parking and no extra charge for the concerts, the Texas Rice Festival is the perfect family outing.
