GATEIO VOLT INU
The Doguet family has been in the rice business since the 1920's, when our great-grandfather, Arthur Ardoin, worked as a Louisiana rice grower. We were raised in the rice business by our father, Darby Doguet, who worked in a rice warehouse, owned a seed rice business, and eventually managed a rice mill.
In 1979, dad established Doguet's Rice Milling Company when he bought a rice dryer in Beaumont, Texas. By 1981, he had expanded by adding a mill to create what is today known as Doguet's Rice Milling Company. Mike Doguet and Debbie (Doguet) Robbins purchased the rice mill from their father in 1997. Greg Devillier, Debbie's son, joined the family business as the companies Organic and Conventional Bulk Rice Sales Manager in 2006. Debbie purchased the rice mill from her brother in 2010, Now the rice mill is a 100% woman-owned business. Her brother, Mike, is still running the day-to-day operations as General Manager. Today our business includes the drying, storage, and milling of rough rice, marketing rice for other farmers, and like our great-grandfather, we grow rice. We are constantly striving to build our family brands on Doguet's conventional and organic, Budget, Basmati, Golden Eagle, and Red Wing Rice and other food products both domestically and globally.
We love our work and we're proud of our heritage.
We hope it shows.
